TROPIC PETROLEUM MAJOR SPONSORS OF THE NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS

To celebrate Tropic Petroleum becoming a Major Sponsor of the North Qld Cowboys, James Tamou dropped into Caltex Pimlico and helped customers fill up their cars and then to top it off gave them $20 cash just for letting him do it.

“It’s exciting for us as a North Queensland business to be an even bigger part of the Cowboys this season,” Tropic CEO Jamie Regan said.
“The club has been great to deal with and we can see the clear advantages of being part of the Cowboys so we’ve decided to upgrade to the major sponsor level this year.
“One of the other bonuses for us is that we have one of Cowboys’ leading players, James Tamou, on board as an ambassador.
“We’re looking forward to working alongside him again this year.”

Toyota Cowboys General Manager – Commercial Steve Mitchell said Tropic’s decision to sign up as a major sponsor was another strong show of support for the North Queensland club.

THE BURDEKIN GROWERS RACEDAY – 18th May 2013

Tropic was a Bronze sponsor at this year’s Burdekin Growers Race Day and the day was a huge success with the rain staying away and over 4500 people walking through the gate.
It was a day for wearing your best suit or dress and having a punt. Jamie, John and Andrew kept a very close eye on the banner in the bar to make sure it wasn’t damaged or stolen, they were so committed to this task that they only left the bar area to go to the loo.
